O’Dea & Co. Ltd. was founded in 1898 by Michael O’Dea and was based in Wolfetone Street in the heart of Dublin. As one of Ireland’s oldest Floor covering Wholesaler’s we carry an extensive range of carpets, vinyl, timber flooring and flooring accessories. We are also sole agents in Ireland for Karndean International Ltd. In 1990 we became a member of the Furlong Flooring group of companies and in 1992 moved too our current location on the side of the M50 motorway, a purpose built 150,000sq building with showrooms offices and warehouse.
Although we are over a hundred years old we don’t take it easy, in 2005 we invested in our future; by investing in technology with a new computer system, allowing us to offer our customers an online service operating 24/7, a new cutting machine with the capacity for over 70 cuts per hour, new trucks and turned our warehouse into one of the largest bar code driven state of the art facilities in Ireland.
